The Sun Sentinels crown a large mesa in the middle of a canyon, northeast of the North Fork Campground and west-southwest of the Zion fishing lodge. The summit offers some of the best views in Zion, but two or three cazadores, or other local creatures, usually roam it. Banana yucca fruit and xander root grow here, and a hollowed-out rock sits at the cliff's edge south of the map marker. The way up is the northwestern slope.
If Follows-Chalk is your companion, reaching the top triggers his Well-Stacked Cairns perk, giving +3 Perception for three minutes and revealing the East Fork Bridge, the Zion fishing lodge and the Sorrows Fork Campground on your map. That makes it a useful detour on the way to the fishing lodge.
How to get there
From the North Fork Campground, head northeast and climb the mesa by its northwestern slope.
