Ulysses' Point is a small cave northwest of Higgs Village and northeast of the X-2 transmitter antenna array, marked by a lantern above the entrance and a small radar dish on the rock. It was the camp of Ulysses, the Courier who leads you into Lonesome Road, and one of his Old World flags, painted blue and facing down, is on the cabinet to the right inside. Lobotomites spawn around the entrance, sometimes dropping from the ledge above or coming up from Higgs Village.
The interior is a single room with a reloading bench and a campfire, handy for crafting ammunition on the way to the southern sites. The real find is lore: Patient Logs 17.5 and 17.9 from the Y-17 patient log series, audio recordings between Ulysses and Christine Royce in which he explains that he wants to talk to the voices in the Big Empty. Pick them up carefully, because explosions on PC can knock the holotape through the wall.
How to get there
Walk south from the Think Tank toward Higgs Village; the cave entrance is under a lantern on the way.
