Higgs Village is a warehouse containing six model houses around a central fountain, the old homes of the Big MT scientists before they became brains in jars. Each house is numbered after its owner: #00 for Doctor 0, #101 for Klein, #102 for Mobius, #103 for Borous and his dog Gabe, #104 for Dala and #108 for Doctor 8. Walking through them is one of the best ways to learn who the Think Tank were, from Mobius' Mentats to Dala's teddy bears and 8's obsession with the number eight.
Several quests send you here. Field Research wants the Audio Sample: Opera Singer from the second floor bedroom nightstand of house #108 and the Audio Sample: Giant Tarantula from house #00. All My Friends Have Off Switches needs the Sink Project: Book Chute holotape in house #101 and the Sink Project: Jukebox holotape in house #108. A Brain's Best Friend starts with Gabe's bowl behind house #103, and Coming Out of Her Shell points you to Dala's teddy bears in house #104.
House #101 holds Dr. Klein's glove on a shelf in the upstairs computer room and Dr. Klein's scrubs on top of a wardrobe. Two dead Securitron Mk I units lie inside house #00, house #103 has Borous' basement with dissected animals and the Ripper, and a Hard locked suitcase under the bed in house #108 holds pre-War money. Look for a Nuka-Cola Victory under a dead shrub at #101, a Nuka-Cola Quartz in the rocket playset at #103 and a Super Stimpak in the fountain.
