A rock-sealed giant ant burrow at the base of a cliff between Two Skies Cave and the Virgin Fork Campground.

The ant burrow is a giant ant nest at the base of a cliff, northeast of Two Skies Cave and west of the Virgin Fork Campground. The entrance is blocked by rocks, so there is no interior to explore, but one or two giant ants usually crawl around outside. Broc flowers grow around the mound, which makes it a useful stop for healing ingredients.

If Follows-Chalk is with you, he warns that his people call giant ants picnic-killers, a word from Back When that he does not understand. The marker is one of those revealed by his Well-Stacked Cairns perk from the top of Ranger Substation Peregrine. On PC and Xbox 360 the location may not show on the compass.

How to get there

From the Virgin Fork Campground, walk a short way west to the foot of the cliff.
