Ranger Substation Peregrine is the southern sister of Eagle and Osprey, a small two-level park building northwest of the Zion Valley Welcome Booth, close to the Ant Burrow and the Crashed Scout Bus. The building and the ground around it carry the chalk-white handprints of Dead Horses scouts. There are no fixed enemies here, and it sits conveniently between the Old Rockville Bridge and the Eastern Virgin, so it makes a natural stop when you head to the Crashed Scout Bus for Roadside Attraction.
On the lower level, a toolbox is hidden behind large wooden boxes on a shelf. Upstairs you will find a locked ammunition box under the table, a gun case in the northeast corner and a Park Ranger Hat. Bringing Follows-Chalk here reveals the Ant Burrow, Virgin Fork Campground and Eastern Virgin on your map and gives the Well-Stacked Cairns bonus of +3 Perception for three minutes.
How to get there
From the Old Rockville Bridge, walk east past the Ant Burrow to the substation.
