The Forlorn Hope mess hall is a two-room metal shack with a kitchen on the north side and a dining area on the south side, its walls covered in NCR propaganda posters. Troopers come here to eat their daily rations, which are mostly squirrel.
Grab the Sunset Sarsaparilla star cap from the table in front of the entrance. After Three-Card Bounty, the First Recon sniper known as 10 of Spades sometimes eats here alongside the regular troopers. Alpha Team only moves to Forlorn Hope after you finish Three-Card Bounty for Major Dhatri at Camp McCarran.
How to get there
Enter Camp Forlorn Hope and walk to its southern end; the mess hall is the last building.
