Ranger Station Delta

Ranger Station Delta is one of the NCR's six ranger stations ringing the Mojave, built on the ruins of a pre-War farmstead southeast of Boulder City and just north of Camp Forlorn Hope. Ranger Pason and Comm Officer Scheffer use it to watch the Colorado River south of Hoover Dam for Legion raiders crossing on rafts, and relay reports back to the ranger command at Camp Golf.

The station appears in Return to Sender, the quest that begins with Tech Sergeant Reyes at Camp Forlorn Hope. You deliver new radio security codes to every ranger station, Delta included, and later come back to talk to Ranger Pason, whose report turns out to have been altered on the way to headquarters. Visiting is otherwise quiet, and the rangers will trade friendly words with anyone the NCR likes. Legion aligned characters should expect to be shot on sight.

Delta is not a place you linger, but it is a useful marker. The Average locked cellar under the ruined house holds a reloading bench and a gun cabinet, though picking it in sight of the rangers turns them hostile, and the Cazador Nest just to the west is a reason to avoid wandering. NCR players will pass through at least once for Return to Sender.
