This roadside site southwest of the Horowitz Farmstead and northwest of Westside is all that is left of a Griffin Wares caravan. Griffin Wares was a smaller outfit that hauled goods for Cassidy Caravans, and this caravan was wiped out entering the Mojave from the north on Highway 95 a few months before the game begins. Three dead brahmin lie around an upended cart next to a Silver Rush advertisement, surrounded by piles of ash.
The debris tells a story. Drained microfusion cells are scattered everywhere and a discarded plasma rifle lies near the cart, which points to energy weapons rather than the usual raider guns. The site matters most in Heartache by the Number, Cass's companion quest, where she reacts to it while you work out who has been destroying Cassidy caravans. Minor loot includes 100 caps and a dose of Med-X in the ash piles, and cazadores sometimes spawn here.
How to get there
Head northwest from Westside's west entrance; the wreck lies by a roadside Silver Rush billboard southwest of the Horowitz Farmstead.
