The Hidden Supply Cave is a single gloomy chamber stacked with crates, northeast of Nipton and just east of Coyote Den. Boxcars mentions seeing crates carried into a cave north of town, and this is the one. The door has an Average lock, so bring 50 Lockpick. A graffiti rocket with a prohibition symbol marks a nearby Hollowed-Out Rock, and a Vipers camp sits over the ridge to the east-southeast, so stay alert on the way in.
Inside, Grognak the Barbarian sits on the first metal box to the right, and a radiation suit lies on top of a footlocker. During Wheel of Fortune, a footlocker holds the radiation suit package that Logan in Camp Searchlight is after, and that crate does not appear until the quest is active. The containers are safe for storage, so the cave works as a stash, though it has no beds or workbench.
How to get there
From Nipton, head north-northeast into the hills, just east of Coyote Den.
Notable loot
- Grognak the Barbarian (first metal box on the right)
- Radiation suit (on top of a footlocker)
- Radiation suit package (footlocker, during Wheel of Fortune)
- Hollowed-Out Rock (near the graffiti rocket outside)
