The loading station is a fenced yard southeast of the Hopeville missile silo bunker door, at the end of the road that runs past the women's barracks. An Easy-locked gate leads in. The barracks inside cannot be entered, but overturned cars and parked trucks hold military shipping crates, and large boulders block the road to the south. It is a short, quiet detour off the main path through Hopeville.

Most players find their first of Ulysses' recordings here. Walk around the stacked trucks to a blue flag painted on a concrete slab; the toolbox under the overturned truck just beyond holds Ulysses log: Y-17.15, the first of six logs for the Ulysses' Odyssey challenge. Along the southern path beside the barracks lie armed plasma mines, with one more hidden behind two crates at the dead end. They are the only active plasma mines in the game, so disarm them to keep them. A skeleton by the rock wall clutches a Bowie knife.

How to get there

From the bunker exit, take the southeast fork past the women's barracks and open the Easy-locked gate at the end of the road.

Notable loot

  • Ulysses log: Y-17.15 (toolbox under the overturned truck)
