Part of Nipton
The ground floor of the Nipton General Store is a mess of toppled food and shelving, and Boxcars, one of only two survivors of the Legion's lottery, sits in a chair among it with his legs broken. He describes what happened to the town and mentions that the Legion led some of his fellow convicts away east as slaves. Offering to help starts Booted, which sends you to the Legion raid camp northeast of Wolfhorn Ranch to free the captives.
A weapon repair kit lies in an overturned shelf right in front of Boxcars. Upstairs, behind an Easy-locked door, is an abandoned apartment with a safe, a usable bed and a bathtub that still holds water. Do not confuse this store with the Nipton Road General Store at the reststop outside town.
How to get there
Enter Nipton from the west road; the general store is the first corner building on the main street.
