The north cistern is a small waterworks building inside Westside, on the east side of the settlement just south of the eastern allotment of crops. Its layout matches the east cistern next to the East Pump Station, except that this one has a generator at the back. The water source inside is irradiated.
Hector, a Westside local, goes inside during the day. If The White Wash is active you can confront him here and get the truth about how Westside is stealing its water, which shapes how you end the quest with Tom Anderson and Lieutenant Boyd.
How to get there
Enter Westside and head to the east side of the settlement, past the crop allotment.
