The North Fork Bridge is a pre-War span on old Route 9, crossing the Virgin River near the rock formation called the Aerie. It sits east of Morning Glory Cave and west of the North Fork Campground, over a small gully in some of the smoothest ground in Zion, and it is based on the real North Fork Virgin River Bridge in Zion National Park.
A squad of White Legs, usually three, tends to wait on the far side, so approach carefully. The bridge is the natural way to reach Morning Glory Cave for The Grand Staircase, and it is one of the markers revealed by Follows-Chalk's Well-Stacked Cairns perk when you reach the summit at the Aerie.
How to get there
Walk west from the North Fork Campground along the old road.
