The Aerie

The Aerie is a pre-War National Park Service lookout southwest of the Sun Sentinels and south of the North Fork Campground. It shares its layout with the ranger substations, with a large radio tower beside it, and its name, a bird's nest, suggests it was the hub of the Eagle, Peregrine and Osprey substations. One of Zion's park ranger hats can be found here, a hat that gives a bonus to Survival and Perception. With Follows-Chalk in the party, reaching the Aerie triggers Well-Stacked Cairns, granting +3 Perception for three minutes and revealing the North Fork Campground, the North Fork Bridge and Patriarchs' Campground. The easiest approach is to head north from Two Skies Cave and climb the hill.
