Patriarchs' Campground is a ruined pre-War campsite in the west of Zion Canyon. Two burned-out cars sit in the clearing, and three campers are pulled into a circle around a table in the middle; one of the trailers still has a bed. Together with Court Fork Overlook to the south, the site is based on the real Court of the Patriarchs in Zion National Park.
The campground is rarely quiet. Up to six creatures can be around at once, most often green geckos and cazadores, and White Legs like to hide around the camp and ambush passers-by. Northwest of the campground, a pre-War airplane has crashed on top of a high mesa. Its cargo is scattered on a ledge above the river, the landing gear and a wing section rest on an outcrop higher up, and skeletons and sacks of gear lie around the mesa. The plane itself cannot be reached without console commands.
How to get there
From Morning Glory Cave, walk a short way south toward Court Fork Overlook.
Notable loot
- Gear and consumables (scattered around the mesa crash site)
Tips
- Scan the rocks for hidden White Legs before you walk into the clearing.
- Morning Glory Cave just to the north holds Randall Clark's later logs and the Survivalist's Hidden Cache for The Grand Staircase.
