The pass to canyon wreckage is where every trip into the Divide begins. Using the door of the big wrecked bus at the canyon wreckage in the Mojave brings you here, and the game always sets the clock to 1 p.m. when you arrive. The path runs along a cliff in the southeastern corner of the Divide, with a fatal drop along most of the left side, so watch your footing. The Reunion ends at the wreckage door, and The Silo begins as soon as you step through.

Only coyotes live here, but the path hides a fair amount of loot for anyone willing to climb. Planks on the right lead to a duffle bag on the rocks, and a car on the left can be climbed to reach a suitcase. A pipe above the cliff edge leads to more duffle bags beside a skeleton, with a caravan crate underneath. Two large pipes with planks across them, overlooking the Divide, hold a toolbox, a bottle of whiskey and two Jet. A fallen electric pylon just before the bunker door has one more duffle bag on top.

This is also the way home. You can walk back to the Mojave whenever you need to resupply, though in Hardcore mode entering the Divide through the canyon wreckage resets your food, water and sleep needs. If Ulysses survives the final confrontation, he settles on a cliff between this pass and the bunker entrance after the add-on, where you can talk to him and receive the Bitter drink recipe.

How to get there

  • Climb the pylon and the pipes before heading to the bunker; the loot up there is easy to walk past.
