A hilltop ranger substation in north-central Zion where the White Legs hold three Sorrows captive in Prisoners of War.

Ranger Substation Osprey sits on a tall hill in north-central Zion, east of the Zion Ranger Station, just north of Cueva Guarache and southwest of Caterpillar's Mound. It shares its layout with the Eagle and Peregrine substations and carries the same chalk-white handprints. Beneath the main office is a storage area behind a Hard lock, holding crates and a toolbox, and one of Zion's park ranger hats is here too. If Follows-Chalk is with you, arriving here reveals Cueva Guarache, the Zion Ranger Station and Caterpillar's Mound on your map and grants the Well-Stacked Cairns Perception bonus.

The substation becomes important if you choose Flight from Zion. Joshua Graham's optional quest Prisoners of War sends you here to free three Sorrows locked in a cell and guarded by four White Legs; at higher levels some of them carry brush guns. You can pick the Hard lock on the cell door, which gives bonus experience, or take the key from a toolbox upstairs in the tower. Freed prisoners help fight the White Legs, but if any Sorrows die, the optional part of Flight from Zion can no longer be completed.

How to get there

From the Zion Ranger Station, head east and climb the tall hill; the substation stands just north of Cueva Guarache.

Tips
