Sorrows Camp is the main home of the Sorrows, a peaceful tribe living in The Narrows in the north of Zion Canyon, close to the main entrance. The cliffs here are so high and steep that the only way in is along the river. The camp itself is a row of beds under a makeshift shelter close to the riverbank, with a Sorrows mural painted behind it. Several caves tied to the tribe, including Sweet Flower Cave, Stone Bones Cave and White Bird's Cave, are close by.

Daniel, the New Canaanite missionary who lives with the Sorrows, is based here. He gives The Grand Staircase, The Advance Scouts, The Treacherous Road and River Monsters, and once those are done, Gathering Storms, where you decide whether the Sorrows flee Zion or fight the White Legs alongside Joshua Graham. Daniel also heals you as a doctor, can be persuaded to trade medical supplies with Barter 50 or Speech 65, and accepts healing powder from you in exchange for good Karma.

Waking Cloud, a Sorrows woman who can guide you around Zion, is found here too, and she points you to White Bird, who lives in White Bird's Cave nearby, to begin Rite of Passage. Joshua Graham also spends time at the camp, reading scripture with Daniel and Waking Cloud. After Flight from Zion the camp stands empty, and once Crush the White Legs is done its settlers can be killed, so finish any business here first.

How to get there

Follow the river north into The Narrows from Caterpillar's Mound; there is no route over the cliffs.
