Sunstone Tower roof

Sunstone Tower is the blast-damaged office building you climb through after leaving the Ashton missile silo during The Divide. Three floors of stairs lead up to the roof, and a group of tunnelers attacks around the third level. A copy of Chinese Army: Special Ops Training Manual is hidden on a bookshelf facing the wall on a landing one flight up from the ground floor entrance; it is very hard to see, so try third-person view while crouching.

On the roof, Ulysses speaks through ED-E for the third time. He says this is the edge of the Divide and accuses the Courier of delivering a package from the West whose device woke the missiles and tore the land apart. He tells you to keep your eyes on the tower that cuts the horizon. As you climb down the slanted radio tower from the north corner, Ulysses can be seen watching from a collapsed building on the cliff to the south.

Partway down, take the side passage marked with a blue flag to find Ulysses log: Y-17.23 on a desk in front of a wall safe. Ulysses log: Y-17.17 is due west, under a mattress in a toppled building with a white flag on its roof, near the broken Saturnite sign. South of the tower, two mole rats guard a duffle bag with Pvt. Foster's personal journal.
