Techatticup Mine

Techatticup Mine, known as Knob Hill Mine before the War, sits at the end of the road that turns south from the one into Nelson, southeast of the town. Before the War it was both a working mine and a tourist attraction, and it was also used to store barrels of radioactive debris. A hollowed-out rock marked with two white rectangles sits just to the right of the entrance.

Caesar's Legion now uses the mine as a secret prison for captured NCR troopers, under the command of the decanus Alexus. Legionaries patrol outside and wait in the first chamber. The left path leads down to a large irradiated chamber full of waste barrels and skeletons where Alexus stands with about eight legionaries, and farther on are two Average locked gates with weapons and armor. Alexus carries the key to the cages down the right hand path, where the tied up NCR soldiers are held.

The mine is the setting of Anywhere I Wander. On the road south from Nelson, Private Renolds asks you to rescue his two squadmates, who were dragged into the mine by Alexus. You can free them, kill them or leave them, and couriers with good Legion standing may be able to walk through without a fight. Bring Rad-X or RadAway for the waste chamber.
