Three Marys is the home camp of the White Legs, the tribe that ambushes the Happy Trails Caravan the moment you arrive in Zion. It lies in the southwest of the canyon along the river and takes its name from three large rock formations, after the real Three Marys in Zion National Park. The ground is buried in trash and debris, because the White Legs haul junk around with their gear and drop it wherever they camp. If you stay hidden, you can watch Storm-Drummers shooting at bottles and tin cans.
You fight through Three Marys in Crush the White Legs, the ending you get by telling Daniel in Gathering Storms that the Sorrows should stand and fight. Joshua Graham comes along as a companion. Partway in, the White Legs set off mines that bring rocks down across the main path and cut Joshua off, so you have to push through Three Marys Cavern to reach the innermost part of the camp. Fast travel is disabled for the whole quest, so arrive fully stocked.
At the heart of the camp waits Salt-Upon-Wounds, the White Legs war chief, already captured by Joshua, who is executing his men when you arrive. Salt-Upon-Wounds begs you for help, and Speech checks (75, then 90) let you either give him a fighting chance or talk Joshua out of executing him entirely. If he dies, his unique helmet and power fist are yours. Before the final quest the far end of the camp is blocked and empty, so there is little reason to come early.
How to get there
Follow the river south past Red Rapids Docks; the entrance to Three Marys is just south of the docks, a little north of the Southern Passage.
