Z-9 Crotalus DNA preservation lab

The Z-9 Crotalus DNA preservation lab lies northwest of the X-8 research center and is another of Doctor Borous' projects. He spliced rattlesnake DNA, from the genus Crotalus, into a coyote-like predator, and the result was the nightstalker. Naturally the building is full of them: nightstalkers prowl every hall, two spawn in the caged area, and the unique nightstalker Shadis waits in the main lab.

The Auto-Doc Upgrade: Implant Y-3 module for Influencing People lies on an operating table in the main lab, which also has an electric hot plate and a deluxe chemistry set. Forward and left from the entrance are four cells with egg clutches holding food, nightstalker eggs and nightstalker blood. Forward and right is a lab section with assorted crates and a sample crate of eggs, blood and nightstalker squeezin's, joined to a caged observation area where a copy of Lad's Life sits on the top shelf of a cabinet. Three Proton throwing axes are spread around the building, two in the west room and one in the east room. A Lobotomite mask is on a corpse in a cell off the main hallway, and the roof hides a first aid box.
