Part of South Vegas Ruins West Entrance

Zapp's Neon Signs was once a major sign maker that lit up the Las Vegas Strip, and its old signs now serve as walls for the Fiends and North Vegas Square. The factory stands in the northern part of the South Vegas ruins and is held by the Fiend Duke and his crew. Barricades of pre-War signs surround it, and the most striking piece in the sign graveyard is the giant pair of feet from a Tall Boy statue.

The building is a trap house. The entrance office has a rigged terminal and a trip wire tied to a grenade bouquet at the top of the stairs, with three frag mines at the bottom before the workshop, where several Fiends stand among three workbenches. Duke guards the foreman's office from the catwalk and shoots the fire extinguishers placed beside more mines on the stairs. He has very high health for a Fiend, and the office holds an Easy-locked terminal, a first aid box and two Nuka-Cola Quartz.

How to get there

Enter the South Vegas ruins by the west entrance and fight north through the Fiends to the sign factory.

Notable loot

  • Two Nuka-Cola Quartz (shelf beside the first aid box, foreman's office)

Notable characters

  • Duke

Tips

  • Look for the trip wire at the top of the entrance stairs and the frag mines at the bottom.
  • Do not stand near the fire extinguishers on the foreman's office stairs; Duke shoots them to set off the mines.
