Allied Technologies Offices

Allied Technologies Offices is a pre-War office building south-southeast of Camp McCarran, in the disputed ground between the NCR base and the Ant Mound to the south, with the Basincreek Building to the west. From the outside it is just another concrete block, but the interior is still intact enough to explore, with desks, filing cabinets and office furniture left over from whatever company worked here before the bombs fell on the Mojave.

Fiends spawn around the outside of the building and often trade fire with the NCR troopers guarding McCarran's wall to the north. Inside, the damaged offices are full of giant ants, which close distance fast in the tight rooms, so clear them from the doorway. Three main rooms hold desks and lockers with minor loot, there are two Sunset Sarsaparilla star caps on the right-hand desk through the first door on the right, and a copy of Tales of a Junktown Jerky Vendor lies among the papers by the vending machines in the western room.

Allied Technologies is not tied to any quest, so you can skip it without missing anything important. It is still a solid stop if you are working through NCR tasks at McCarran, since the building is only a short walk from the base and the Fiends and ants around it are an easy source of experience. Players who like clearing every interior on the map will find it a quick, self contained job.
