Big MT east tunnel

The Big MT east tunnel is one of the old transit tunnels out of the crater, on its eastern rim near the Z-14 Pepsinae DNA splicing lab. It is now blocked by several crashed red train cars, so there is no way through. Doctor 0 blames Father Elijah for the wreckage, grumbling that he wrecked the whole place, and the pile-up is one of many marks Elijah left on Big MT before he moved on to the Sierra Madre.

There is a small reward for climbing. Run up the hill on the right side of the entrance, get onto the top of the tunnel, then jump from train car to train car to reach a toolbox stocked with chems. It is a quick detour on the way between the X-8 research center and the Z-14 lab.

How to get there

Follow the eastern rim of the crater north from the X-8 research center; the tunnel is just southeast of the Z-14 lab.

Tips

  • Use the hill to the right of the entrance to get onto the train cars.
  • Watch for cazadores drifting over from the nearby Z-14 lab.
