The Big MT north tunnel is a subway shaft on the northern rim of the crater, right next to the Forbidden Zone dome entrance. It is part of All My Friends Have Off Switches: the Sink Project: Light Switch 02 holotape sits on a shelf behind the door to the right of the entrance, and you may need to close the door before it becomes visible. A train car still sits on the tracks, and Ulysses painted white Old World flags on the arch and on the side of the car.
Further in, a hole in the floor leads down into a cave, guarded by an overclocked turret behind a force field that only the upgraded Sonic emitter from the X-8 research center can remove. Below the broken track at the end of the tunnel lies a LAER, the laser rifle introduced in Old World Blues, so come back once you have the emitter upgrade if you use energy weapons.
How to get there
Go to the Forbidden Zone dome entrance on the northern rim and walk a short way east to the tunnel arch.

- If the holotape seems missing, close the door to the side room and look again.
