Part of Bitter Springs
This small cemetery holds twelve Great Khans killed in the Bitter Springs Massacre, six graves on each side of the path that runs toward the refugee camp. Boone says the NCR called this pass Canyon 37, the Khans' only escape route, which his First Recon unit was ordered to cover. Khan symbols are still painted on the rock walls, and ghostly sounds can be heard among the graves.
A Great Khan spike helmet rests on one grave. The cemetery is also the quickest way up to Oscar Velasco's cave in Climb Ev'ry Mountain: face west, climb the hill, then turn north at the top. Boone's companion quest I Forgot to Remember to Forget also brings him back to Bitter Springs, where he tells you what happened at nearby Coyote Tail Ridge.
How to get there
From the Bitter Springs refugee camp, walk out along the valley path toward Coyote Tail Ridge.
Notable loot
- Great Khan spike helmet (on one of the graves)

Tips
- Bring Boone here only once you are ready for his companion quest; Bitter Springs is where it comes to a head.
- Use the hill west of the graves as a shortcut to the sniper's cave.
