Coyote Tail Ridge

Coyote Tail Ridge is a small hilltop overlook southwest of Bitter Springs. Follow the trail northeast and you pass a 'BITTER SPRINGS' sign with an NCR bear on it, then a dozen graves laid out in two rows on either side of the path. During the Bitter Springs Massacre of the Great Khans, NCR First Recon snipers were stationed up here, which gives the view down over the refugee camp a grim weight.

There is no loot to speak of, and the main hazard is a nearby cazador nest whose members may spot you and attack. Players mostly come for the story. During Craig Boone's companion quest, I Forgot to Remember to Forget, Boone asks you to come up here, tells you what happened during the massacre and asks to stay the night on the ridge, which leads into the Legion attack on the Bitter Springs camp below.
