Bloodborne Cave

Bloodborne Cave is a nightstalker nest east of the Brotherhood of Steel Safehouse and northwest of Bitter Springs. Dangerous wildlife hangs around the entrance, and the interior is a single section that ends in a room with a campfire and a legendary nightstalker. Past the campfire lie several skeletons, often with weapons and ammo on them, and mushrooms on the ground can hide extra loot, so search carefully once the fighting stops.

A Very Hard locked gate on the north side leads to a stash, and a key on one of the campfire's cinder blocks opens it. Watch out: a trip wire just past the gate sets off three grenade bouquets in a tight corridor, which can kill you outright. Behind it, an Average locked trunk holds caps, NCR dollars and Legion denarii and aurei, and there is a 12.7mm submachine gun in poor condition.

After you kill the legendary, more nightstalkers can respawn over the following days, and later cazadores can turn up as well, so return visits get harder rather than easier. Bring antivenom for the poisonous bites.
