The Cap Counterfeiting Shack is an abandoned shack west of the Bitter Springs Recreation Area, near Callville Bay. Someone used its cellar to churn out counterfeit bottle caps, and by the time you arrive the operation is long gone, leaving only a few fakes behind. Cazadores guard the entrance, which makes the approach far more dangerous than the building itself, especially for a low-level character without good armor or antivenom.
The basement is the interesting part. A Nuka-Cola vending machine and two Sunset Sarsaparilla machines stand among piles of full and empty bottles, with ammunition boxes and a table of counterfeit caps in front. Three Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle caps sit on tables of empty soda bottles, and 18 counterfeit caps lie on another. In the separate back room, Tales of a Junktown Jerky Vendor rests on suitcases at the foot of the bed.
How to get there
From Callville Bay, head northwest into the hills to the lone shack.

- The containers are safe, so the shack can double as a stash.
