Dinky is a pre-War roadside attraction on Highway 95, a huge tyrannosaurus biting the top off a thermometer sign that advertises the motel. It can be seen from miles away, and Cass admits she first took it for a real giant gecko. A door on its side leads into the Dino Bite gift shop, and stairs inside climb up to its open mouth.
The mouth is a sniper's nest shared by two former First Recon snipers. Manny Vargas watches the town by day and Craig Boone takes the night shift. Climb up at night to talk to Boone and start One for My Baby; finish it by finding the right culprit and he gives you his 1st Recon beret before he can join you as a companion.
How to get there
Enter Novac from Highway 95 and walk around the fence on either side; the gift shop steps lead inside the dinosaur.
