Next to Gun Runners
East Vegas is the neighborhood between the NCR Sharecropper Farms, the Crimson Caravan compound and the Gun Runners' factory, split into two halves joined by wooden bridges with fire barrels at each end, under a highway overpass. Since the NCR arrived it has been safer than North Vegas or Westside, thanks to the troops around Camp McCarran and the caravan traffic heading to Freeside's east gate. Many locals work for the Gun Runners or the Crimson Caravan, and older residents resent the NCR's attempts to push them off their land.
Most houses are locked or boarded up, but three can be entered: the Hostetler home, Isaac's house and Orion Moreno's house. Their owners tie into Someone to Watch Over Me, Aba Daba Honeymoon, Dealing with Contreras and For Auld Lang Syne, and the Hostetler home hides a Sunset Sarsaparilla star cap. Traveling merchants pass through from time to time, and the area has ladders down to the east central sewers.
How to get there
Walk east from the Gun Runners kiosk outside Freeside's east gate and cross under the overpass.
