Fisherman's Pride Shack is a weather-beaten fishing cabin on the shore of Lake Mead, west of Callville Bay, east of Camp Golf and north of Ranger Station Alpha. It is the kind of place you stumble on while following the shoreline rather than a destination in itself. The single room has a bed you can sleep in, a fridge, a footlocker and a radio playing Mojave Music Radio, and a small pier runs out into the water in front of it.
The reason to stop is light scavenging and a safe-ish bed by the water. Look for a copy of Pugilism Illustrated on the bedside table and a Sunset Sarsaparilla star cap on the table by the fridge, and check the hollowed-out rock and campfire just behind the shack. The danger is the same as everywhere on this lake: lakelurks come out of the water and their sonic blasts can drop a low-level Courier in seconds. Scout the shoreline with a scoped weapon before you walk down to the door.
How to get there
From Callville Bay walk west along the shore of Lake Mead; the shack sits right on the waterline below the hills.
