The Follower's Outpost is a small Followers of the Apocalypse post in the flats east of New Vegas, northwest of the 188 Trading Post and southeast of the Grub n' Gulp, at the end of a short road off Highway 95. It was built inside a pre-War railroad traffic control tower and coordinates the Followers' field work in the Mojave, with Doctor Alvarez, two other Followers doctors and two guards on site.
Do not come here expecting a clinic. Alvarez is a research scientist rather than a medic and sends you to the Old Mormon Fort in Freeside if you ask for healing, and nobody here trades with you. There is a hollowed-out rock at the base of the tower, and the interior is just two rooms with filing cabinets, a broken terminal and a few unusable beds.
The outpost matters for Veronica's quest I Could Make You Care. If you tell her to leave the Brotherhood, she asks you to bring her here, Alvarez asks you both to come back in a day to meet Doctor Schiller, and on your return the Followers have been killed by Brotherhood paladins you then have to fight. For everyone else it is a fast travel point between the Grub n' Gulp and the 188.
How to get there
Take the small road that branches off Highway 95 northwest of the 188 Trading Post; the outpost is the tower at its end, southeast of the Grub n' Gulp Rest Stop.
