Grub n' Gulp Rest Stop

The Grub n' Gulp Rest Stop is a two person operation on the shoulder of Highway 95 southeast of New Vegas, just north of REPCONN Headquarters. Fitz runs the right-hand stall and sells food such as radroach meat and iguana bits, while Lupe runs the middle stall and sells purified water straight from Lake Mead, plus dirty water for the less picky. There is also a campfire for crafting and a few unowned beds behind the stalls.

Nothing here will threaten you unless trouble follows you in. The rest stop has no guards, so Legion assassins chasing a hated Courier can turn it into a firefight, and Fitz and Lupe will run out to fight them and often lose. They also count as NCR, so a bad reputation with the NCR turns them hostile. Otherwise it is a safe place to sell a little loot to Fitz, top up on water for Hardcore mode and stock up before pushing on toward Boulder City and the dam.

Grub n' Gulp is the sort of place you keep coming back to because of where it sits rather than what it sells. Camp Golf, Lake Las Vegas, the Follower's Outpost and the Cassidy Caravans Wreckage are all within a short walk, and the 188 is just down the road. Mark it early and it will save you a lot of walking across the eastern Mojave.
