Part of Hoover Dam
The checkpoint is a makeshift shack built from scrap on the crest of the dam, with lockers, metal boxes and a ladder up to a watchtower overlooking the structure. It stays locked until the final quest. Two of the dam's intake towers stand on each side of it.
A terminal on the south wall reports on the dam's generators. If you have 100 Science and carry a detonator during Eureka!, you can rig the generators to blow, sending out a pulse that kills the Legion troops on the far side of the checkpoint. If you convinced the Followers of the Apocalypse to help the NCR, a medical supply kit waits inside.
How to get there
During the final battle, cross the top of Hoover Dam from the Nevada side to the shack in the middle.
Notable loot
- Medical supply kit (only if the Followers help the NCR)

Tips
- Bring a detonator and 100 Science into the final battle to use the generator trick here.
