Part of Camp Golf

The House Resort and Country Club was one of Robert House's pre-War Las Vegas properties and survived the war in remarkable shape. The NCR took it over with its golf course and named the base Camp Golf. With most troops sent to Hoover Dam, the resort is now the regional headquarters of the NCR Rangers under Chief Hanlon, while ordinary troopers grumble from their tents outside.

Inside are a large lobby, offices at the back, a storeroom full of metal and ammunition boxes, bunks, a kitchen and two staircases to bedrooms and an outdoor deck upstairs. Veteran Rangers and regular Rangers fill the building. Hanlon stands on the balcony above the entrance, and Return to Sender ends with you confronting him about the falsified reports.

Hanlon's office holds a Lucky 38 VIP keycard, which opens Mr. House's private chamber in the Lucky 38. Three star bottle caps sit on two dressers in the first room of the right-hand hallway upstairs, and the kitchen holds five Nuka-Cola Quartz and 22 purified water. Poindexter's solution in Flags of Our Foul-Ups uses a terminal in this building.

How to get there

Camp Golf sits on the shore of Lake Las Vegas northwest of Boulder City; the resort is the big cube-shaped building in the camp.
