Lone Wolf Radio is an abandoned trailer parked with its back against a wall of rock south of Goodsprings and south-southwest of Goodsprings Source. Before the War a conspiracy theorist used it to run a pirate radio station about government coverups. Nobody is home now; all that is left is dead radio equipment, empty whiskey bottles and the words painted inside: Everyone is gone. I am all alone. Let it all end.

Inside the trailer you find scattered radio equipment, scrap electronics, sensor modules, a mattress, a copy of the Wasteland Survival Guide next to the bed and a Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle cap. The parts cover most of what you need to fix ED-E at the Nash residence in Primm if your Science and Repair are too low. Just down the hill is a small basin of clean water with broc flowers, where around seven geckos gather. There is no quest attached and no NPC to talk to.

Lone Wolf Radio works as an early game home: there is a bed, and the footlocker and metal box in the trailer are safe storage. The fast travel marker helps if you are exploring the southwest corner of the map toward Primm and the Mojave Outpost. Completionists will want it, and the skill book alone makes the short walk from Goodsprings worth it.

How to get there

South of Goodsprings; from Goodsprings Source head south-southwest across the desert to the trailer parked against the rocks.

Tips

  • A safe early home close to Goodsprings, with safe storage in the footlocker and metal box.
  • Grab the Wasteland Survival Guide and the sensor modules; they help with ED-E.
