Canyon Wreckage

A canyon west of Primm choked with burned-out vehicles and Ulysses' graffiti. With Lonesome Road installed, it is the way into the Divide.

The Canyon Wreckage sits west of Primm at the end of a path running north-northwest from the California Sunset Drive-in. It looks like a pass through the mountains, but a pile of burned-out cars, trucks and other debris blocks it completely. One wreck holds several charred skeletons and some explosive crates, and coyotes prowl the area. Following the southwest rock wall leads to a dead NCR trooper with two ammo boxes beside him.

The graffiti is what makes this place memorable. Messages such as 'You Can Go Home, Courier', 'the Divide' and 'Lonesome Road', along with backward sixes, are painted across the wreckage, and they appear even without the Lonesome Road add-on. With that add-on installed, the debris is cleared and you enter the Divide through the wreck of a bus. Just south, on the road to the drive-in, an overturned truck marked with the same sixes holds crates of frag grenades.

How to get there

From the California Sunset Drive-in, follow the dirt path north-northwest into the canyon.

Notable loot

  • Explosive crates (in one of the burned wrecks)
  • Two ammo boxes (dead NCR trooper along the southwest rock wall)
  • Frag grenades (overturned truck on the road to the south)

Tips

  • Follow the southwest rock wall to find the dead NCR trooper and his ammo boxes.
  • Without Lonesome Road there is nothing past the wreckage, so loot and move on.
