Ranger Substation Eagle is one of three small National Park Service outposts scattered around Zion, built to the same plan as Osprey and Peregrine. It stands in the west of the canyon near Bighorn Bluff and The Bend Bridge. Like most pre-War buildings in Zion, its walls are covered in the chalk-white handprints left by Dead Horses scouts. No one lives here now, which makes it a calm stop before you tackle the White Legs camps at Bighorn Bluff in The Advance Scouts.
The ground floor is a single room with crafting materials, common loot and the stairs. Upstairs is the old living quarters, with a bookshelf, a bed, a table, a First Aid Box and a locked gun case whose lock difficulty depends on your level. If Follows-Chalk is your companion, reaching the substation reveals Bighorn Bluff, The Bend Bridge and Court Fork Overlook on your map and gives the Well-Stacked Cairns bonus of +3 Perception for three minutes. A Hollowed-Out Rock waits at the dead end of the gorge to the west-southwest.
How to get there
From The Bend Bridge, head west toward Bighorn Bluff; the substation stands on the way.
Notable loot

- Hollowed-Out Rock (dead end of the gorge to the west-southwest)
