Next to Camp Forlorn Hope
On the east bank of the Colorado River, across from Camp Forlorn Hope, a small inlet ends in a semi-submerged cave. Six lakelurks occupy the area and attack anyone who comes close, so expect to fight in or near the water. The official game guide lists the spot as the River Bank Alcove.
Two explosives crates sit near the cave, and inside are three clutches of lakelurk eggs. Getting here means crossing the river from the Camp Forlorn Hope side, so plan the trip when you are ready for a scrap with the lakelurks.
How to get there
From Camp Forlorn Hope, go down to the Colorado and cross to the inlet on the opposite bank.
Notable loot
- Two explosives crates (near the cave)
- Three lakelurk egg clutches (inside the cave)
Tips
- Clear all six lakelurks before searching the cave.
- Check the explosives crates outside the cave mouth.
