Saturnite alloy research facility

The Saturnite alloy research facility is a factory in the southwest of Big MT, southeast of the Z-43 innovative toxins plant. It was built over a cave system with an exposed lava flow, which the scientists used to research Saturnite, a metal that holds heat so well a blade forged from it can melt metal. Crazed Mister Handy robots fill the building, and the unique Mister Handy Sparks waits in the main cave behind a force field that you need the upgraded Sonic emitter from the X-8 research center to get past.

Inside the entrance, turn right and step through the doorway onto the factory floor; the Light Switch 02 Upgrade: Mood Lights holotape for Influencing People is in a cabinet immediately on your left. A box of Mentats sits in front of the first desk in the eastern lobby near a Sunset Sarsaparilla machine, and a toolbox of chems is reached by hopping a rail on the main floor and walking along a pipe. Do not jump into the lava pit, which kills you before you even land, and look for Ulysses' blue flag outside the main building.
