X-7a "Left Field" artillery launch

The X-7a Left Field artillery launch is an artillery command center in the southwest of Big MT, with a crashed military truck and a fixed gun control console aimed at the X-7b Boom Town target zone across the crater. The unique RY-589 Ultimo Bot guards the outside and carries a LAER, and a Y-17 trauma override harness team with several lobotomites stands just outside the hole in the northeast fence, grouped tightly until attacked.

Grab the missile launcher from the military truck outside, due west of the harness group, and use it on them while they are bunched up. Inside the command center, the Recipes: Explosives Skill Book holotape sits on the large machine above three ammunition boxes, along with Proton throwing axes. Firing the gun from the console sends a shell into Boom Town and reveals a footlocker in a crater there with a Guns skill book recipe and an Atomic-Valence Tri-Radii-Oscillator.

A truck has smashed through the command room wall, crushing a skeleton with an artillery shell pointed at its pelvis, and the music near the building is the same track as the Sierra Madre vault. Ulysses painted a blue Old World flag on the command room door. The guns themselves are small versions of the Artillery Overlook guns from Fallout 3's Operation: Anchorage.
