The Devil's Throat is a large radioactive crater in the far northeast, east of Bloodborne Cave and beyond Ranger Station Bravo. Contaminated pools sit at the bottom, and a wrecked truck rests in the center surrounded by toxic waste barrels, with a dead super mutant at its rear. Radiation near the barrels runs from about 2 to 8 rads per second, so take Rad-X or wear a radiation suit before you climb down to the truck.
Centaurs, evolved centaurs and a giant evolved centaur live in the crater and respawn a few days after you kill them. Inside the truck's trailer, a dead prospector wears reinforced combat armor and a unique party hat, and next to him lies the CZ57 Avenger, a unique minigun and one of the best heavy weapons in the game. A super mutant camp to the northwest can hold up to four super mutant masters.
How to get there
From Ranger Station Bravo, head east until the ground falls away into the crater.
