Next to Sorrows Camp
The Narrows is the deep, winding gorge in the northern half of Zion Canyon and the home territory of the Sorrows. Follows-Chalk warns you on the way in that the tribe is peaceful but should not be angered. The entrance is marked by a wooden sign reading 'THE NARROWS', a little north of Caterpillar's Mound, and the Sorrows camp lies close to it. Half Mouse Cave and Stone Bones Cave are among the caves inside.
Long before the Sorrows, the Narrows sheltered Randall Clark, who moved from Two Skies Cave to Stone Bones Cave in late 2095 or early 2096 and stayed about three years. From there he saw the Vault 22 expedition kill a group of Mexican refugees and fought a guerrilla war that cost the expedition a third of its people. During the War for Zion, the New Canaanite missionary Daniel lives here with the tribe, looking for a way to lead them out before the White Legs arrive.
The cliffs are tall and full of dead ends, and the higher you climb, the more likely a fatal fall becomes. A door at the back of Half Mouse Cave opens onto the upper Narrows, where you find a few beds, some loot that counts as stealing and three geckos. The geckos only fight if provoked, and if they do turn on you, the Sorrows tribesmen will help.
How to get there
Follow the river north past Caterpillar's Mound until you reach the wooden 'THE NARROWS' sign.

Tips
- Watch your footing on the upper ledges; falls in the Narrows can kill.
- Use the back door of Half Mouse Cave to reach the upper Narrows instead of climbing the cliffs.
