The Securitron Victor's shack on the south edge of Goodsprings, a free early home with a bed, clean water and ammo boxes.

Victor's shack belongs to the cowboy Securitron who pulled the Courier from the grave, though he usually rolls around town instead of staying inside. Townsfolk say the shack once housed Victor's owner, but Trudy notes nobody knows who that was. Later in the game an inactive Victor can be seen standing beside it after you meet him again at Novac or near Boulder City.
Nothing inside is marked as owned and Victor does not mind visitors, which makes this a handy first home. There is a usable bed, an oven, a sink with radiation-free water, shelves for storage, a weapon repair kit on the desk and two ammunition boxes, one on the back work table and one on the shelves by the bed.
How to get there
From the schoolhouse on the southwest edge of town, walk east past the ruined houses to the shack with the flag.
