The waste disposal station is a small opening in the canyon wall on the lowest level of the ravine northeast of Ulysses' Temple, in an alcove at the north end of the larger pool fed by a broken water pipe. The entrance blends into the rock and is easy to miss, so check your local map; a RALPHIE poster hangs just to its right. One of Ulysses' blue flags marks the nook, but here it leads to a marked men ambush, and at least one of them uses a Stealth Boy.
Inside is little more than a short hole in the rock, littered with radioactive barrels that fell through when the floor of a pre-War bunker above collapsed. Behind a barrel with a skeleton draped over it lies a copy of Wasteland Survival Guide. The skeleton at the back has a marksman carbine beside it and clutches the note For whoever finds this...., a Nostalgia entry. Taking the note brings tunnelers out between you and the exit, and lead-lined metal boxes with RadAway and Rad-X are nearby.
How to get there
From the Boxwood Hotel roof area, go through the tunnel under the horizontal building to the second grotto and look for the alcove at the north end of the big pool.
