The X-66 Hexcrete archipelago is a field of huge hexagonal concrete columns rising out of the ground in western Big MT, some shorter than the Courier and others several stories tall. It lies north of Z-38, southeast of the X-13 research facility and west of the Z-43 plant. A pool of radioactive liquid sits among the columns, and the pipes running through the area are littered with frag mines, so watch your step.
Two nightstalker packs spawn to the south and east, several Y-17 trauma override harnesses roam the columns, and robo-scorpions guarding X-13 will join in if you head north. There is little loot: a bedroll southwest of the map marker and a duffle bag and camera beside a nearby skeleton. An unused ending for Old World Blues would have said that Goodsprings was crushed beneath stacks of hexcrete blocks.
How to get there
Head to the western edge of the crater; the archipelago sits just southeast of the X-13 research facility.
