The X-13 research facility is a REPCONN Aerospace testing site on the western edge of Big MT where the Stealth suit Mk II was developed. The main level holds offices and three labs, a central metal walkway room leads to a broken VR simulation room, and stairs drop down to a nightstalker test area connected to sewer tunnels and a room with a strange still. Expect nightstalkers in the basement, plus robobrains, robo-scorpions, turrets, laser tripwires and proximity detectors.
Doctor Klein sends you here for the third item of Welcome to the Big Empty, which starts X-13: Attack of the Infiltrator!. The suit is split into gloves, chest plate and boots, one in each lab off the first hallway, and once you have all three it assembles itself. Run the basic infiltration test and steal the X-13 document from the administrator's wall safe to finish the quest and upgrade the suit, which then continues into Project X-13 and its harder Advanced, Expert and Robot Compliance tests.
The facility is also a big source of crafting materials and holotapes. The Implant Y-7 upgrade is stored on a terminal in office observation area 1, the K9000 mod upgrades Mentat Chow and Resla Roil are on observation area terminals, and three Stealth Boys are hidden around the building, one behind a force field. The VR simulation room holds a Protonic inversal axe, a suitcase in a force field room contains the X-8 kennel key, and a pipe climb leads to a roof cache with a LAER.
How to get there
Travel to the far western edge of the crater, just northwest of the X-66 Hexcrete archipelago.

Tips
- You must be wearing the assembled suit to unlock the stealth testing lab, so grab all three pieces first.
- Do not linger in the basement test area; invisible nightstalkers keep spawning there.
- Bring an upgraded Sonic emitter to open the force field rooms.
