Next to Wrecked Highwayman
Bootjack Cavern is cut into the cliff east of the Wrecked Highwayman. Head due east toward Lucky Jim Mine until you reach the cliff face, then follow it north; the entrance faces west, toward the road. The Pip-Boy shows the quest marker on the east side of the mesa, over the cave's interior, so starting from the road is easier than coming over from Lucky Jim Mine.
Inside, three small sections are full of fire geckos. A pile of fire gecko eggs at the southern end is the target of Red Lucy's third hunting task in Bleed Me Dry. A sulfur and potassium deposit like the one in Vault 19's sulfur caves sits here too, smaller and not usable, and two dead prospectors can carry random weapons, ammunition and clothing such as the slave scarf.
How to get there
Fast travel to Clark Field or the Wrecked Highwayman, then head east to the cliff and follow it north to the cave mouth.
